Participation in Business Discovery Day
October 1, 2006
When we received the invitation to participate in Business Discovery Day on October 1, 2006, our first reaction was to think that that our activity was out of the scope of that event.
We very quickly changed our minds. Yes, our activity could be shown, demonstrated, illustrated... By using examples of concrete inventions, we will explain to whoever comes to visit us, how our assistance can help progress from the stage of the invention to operational use in the best conditions. Very often, inventors, through ignorance or to save money, neglect to protect their invention, at the risk of losing the entire benefit of their ingeniousness and seeing it pass into other hands.
The very first role of a patent agent is to inform even to educate potential clients about the need for a patent. But... is every invention patentable? We will have the opportunity, throughout that day, to create an invention together and to ask ourselves whether or not it could be the subject of a patent application in other words, to decide together what the criteria for it to be accepted are.
Every year, Business Discovery Day gives companies the possibility of opening their doors to their target public and to the general public, to reveal their production processes and to answer questions. From the single shareholder structure to the multinational corporation, all companies may take part. Communication and conviviality are the day's key words
